January 20, 2010--Update
Mercy and Justice (from Micah 6:8 in the Bible) are eating 24/7 nonstop hay. They have perked up and are no longer hanging their heads. They get excited when we feed. Volunteers have been brushing them. Justice (bay) will come back sooner and is looking very good. Mercy (grey) was all bones. Love them! Will take a picture in the next couple of weeks. Took pictures when they got here. So sad. Do you want those? Thanks, Emilie

Feburary 1, 2010--Update
Wow! I just took a picture of Mercy (the grey) yesterday after working on her scabby skin for awhile. She looks so much better. I will attach a picture of when we first got him and then yesterday's. The picture I took of Justice didn't really come out clear enough so I'll try again when we can take their blankets off. We got about 8 inches of snow on Fri/Sat. Would you be willing to put a link to our website with your pictures on your website?   www.flurryshope.com

Thank you for all you do for those who cannot speak for themselves. I named them Mercy and Justice after Micah 6:8. I felt that God's justice had allowed you to save them and God's mercy allowed you to get the money to send them to us. I have apologized to them over and over for how they were mistreated and told them they were home with lots of hugs and kisses. They are acting like real horses now, neighing, walking around with their heads up instead of standing depressed hanging their heads when they first came. Blessings, Emilie

Justice and Mercy have beeen integrated into the other horses and are doing great. Justice is showing his real personality and establishing some dominance which is great! We love them! Emilie
